Welcome to the Garden's Winter Wonderland

Celebrate the wonders of the season at Winter Garden aGlow, a magical event, Wednesdays through Sundays, Thanksgiving to New Year’s Eve. Wander through a mesmerizing world of twinkling lights, enchanting displays, and the sweet aroma of nightly cookies and hot chocolate. Let the kids explore this Winter Wonderland, while you enjoy intimate moments by the fire pits and sip holiday drinks at the Snow Globe Bar. Write heartfelt letters to Santa, witness the creativity of our community at the Gingerbread Village, and capture unforgettable memories. Join us and embrace the joy of togetherness in this luminous winter wonderland!

Timed Slots

At Winter Garden aGlow, we understand that your time is precious. That's why we offer flexible time slots, allowing you to choose the perfect moment to immerse yourself in the magic. Time slots start at 6:00p and run every 30 minutes. Book your preferred slot and step into a world of wonder!

This year, the Garden is transformed into a Gingerbread Wonderland, with every corner adorned with delightful and whimsical displays. Local illustrator, Julia Green, has intricately captured this holiday experience with our new map, guiding you through the magical journey that awaits.

Enchanting Displays

Explore a world of enchanting displays, including the Snow Globe Bar, a pop-up al fresco bar tucked under the Gathering Place, serving unique holiday drinks and spinning festive tunes. The Kid's Gingerbread House invites young explorers into a life-size house adorned with candies, providing the perfect backdrop for holiday photos.

Community Creations

Witness the spirit of community at the Gingerbread Village, a neighborhood crafted by the community featuring gingerbread houses creatively displayed in our Native Plant Garden. It's a testament to the collaborative joy that defines the holiday season. 

Luminous Landscapes

Marvel at the Luminaria Swirl, where the soft glow of luminaria paired with a tree of lights adds sparkle to the night. Walk through the captivating Bubble Gum Tunnel, an explosion of colored lights creating a space that feels like stepping into a dream.

Captivating Performances

Experience the magic of live performances at the Sounds of the Season Stage, where local choirs and musicians serenade you with a variety of holiday hits.

Sweet Indulgences

Satisfy your sweet cravings at the Sweet Treat Stop, where complimentary cookies and hot cocoa warm your soul as you wander through the illuminated wonderland. And for those looking for unique gifts, the Stocking Stuffer Station offers a selection of handpicked items, with all proceeds benefiting the Garden's invaluable work throughout the year.

Timeless Traditions

Engage in timeless traditions like writing heartfelt letters to Santa, ensuring every child's wish finds its way to the North Pole. 

 

And back by popular demand, Santa's Hideaway becomes a space where children can meet the most authentic Santa and capture moments for family holiday cards. Every Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday from November 26 till December 21.

Love is in the Air

Winter Garden aGlow embraces love stories, encouraging enchanting marriage proposals amidst the glittering lights. Let us know, and we'll assist in making your proposal a moment to remember, set against the magical backdrop of the Garden.

Cozy Retreats

Embrace the warmth of the season at our glowing fire pits, where families gather, couples steal intimate moments, and friends share laughter. Join us in this luminous celebration, where the ordinary transforms into the extraordinary, and every moment becomes a cherished memory.

Meet the Artist:

Julia Green!

Julia Green is an illustrator and surface pattern designer based in Nampa, Idaho. Over the years, she has created artwork for a diverse range of projects, including album artwork and editorial illustration, patterns for children’s rain boots, toy designs, and children’s books. Her preferred mediums include Adobe Photoshop, Fresco, and Illustrator.

 

Julia draws inspiration from the cartoons she enjoyed as a 90s kid and the illustration styles from the 1950s and 1960s. Her art is characterized as a blend of soft emotions and humor. When she is not immersed in her creative work, you can find her indulging in video games or spending quality time with her two cats and her chiweenie.

Getting Here

Dogsled, walk, ice skate, or carpool. We love our planet and we love it when our guests use alternative forms of transportation. But if driving is a must, here are some directions!
