Idaho Botanical Gardan Continues Community Support for Positive Impact and Change
BOISE, IDAHO (April 09, 2024) – Six organizations in the State of Idaho were awarded the Idaho Botanical Garden’s 2024 Lunaria Grant. The Grantees include:
The Lunaria Grant started in 2012 as a way for the Garden, a nonprofit organization, to provide financial support for various Idaho-based horticultural education projects with a positive impact in communities, locally and nationwide. To be awarded the grant, organizations submit details of their plan, how grant monies will be spent and evaluated and collaboration with other groups to enhance the effectiveness of the effort.
“The primary mission of the Idaho Botanical Garden ensuring we connect with communities not just in the Treasure Valley, but all over the state of Idaho,” stated Erin Anderson, Executive Director, Idaho Botanical Garden. “We do this by bringing together people, plants and resources with programs like the Lunaria Grant. Congratulations to each recipient.”
The Lunaria Grant submission period runs from November to February with the selection of the Grantees announced in late March.
