Idaho Botanical Garden Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Day in Partnership with Idaho Hispanic Foundation

Boise, ID – October 3, 2024 – The Idaho Botanical Garden announces its Hispanic Heritage Day which is one activity of the annual Harvest Days Celebration. This vibrant event, held in collaboration with the Idaho Hispanic Foundation, will offer an enriching celebration of Hispanic culture, tradition, and contributions.

Hispanic Heritage Day at the Idaho Botanical Garden promises to be an inspiring occasion filled with cultural activities, artistic performances, and community engagement. Attendees will experience the rich tapestry of Hispanic heritage through a variety of exciting offerings, including:

  • Live Music & Dance Performances: Enjoy the rhythms of traditional Hispanic music and captivating dance performances that showcase the diversity and beauty of Hispanic culture. Featured performers include:  Anza Azteca Tonatiuh- Aztec Dancers and Ballet Folklorico Yareth
  • Artisan Market: Discover handmade crafts, jewelry, and artwork by local Hispanic artisans and vendors, perfect for unique gifts and souvenirs.
  • Culinary Delights: Savor a range of delicious Hispanic cuisine from local food vendors, featuring traditional dishes and contemporary culinary creations. Food trucks include: Tacos La Chiquilla, Cafe Mi Casitas, and Churro Spot
