Idaho Botanical Garden Announces Growth and Gratitude Days: A Call to Support and Celebrate Our Garden and Community 

Boise, ID – September 26, 2024 — The Idaho Botanical Garden is excited to announce its first Growth and Gratitude Days, a special initiative designed to engage our community and gather crucial support for the Garden. From October 1st to October 4th, we invite the community to participate in this event dedicated to supporting and connecting people, plants, and nature.

How Your Support Makes a Difference

Your generous contributions during Growth and Giving Days will directly benefit the Idaho Botanical Garden and the Treasure Valley Community in several vital ways:

• $5,000: cultivate and preserve our unique gardens, allowing us to share the beauty and serenity of this special space with all who visit

• $2,500: can fund one of our team members from the women’s correctional facility in providing workforce development training and programming

• $1,000: can help purchase and upgrade lights for our Winter Garden aGlow event that ensure a continued magical experience and tradition for families and friends across the Treasure Valley

• $500: can provide resources for a community outreach program, bringing gardening education to local schools and neighborhoods

• $250: can plant and maintain our annual flower beds in the Garden, contributing to long-term wellness and an appreciation for nature’s beauty

• $100: can support a children's field trip, teaching the importance of connecting to nature and environmental conservation through hands-on activities
• $55: can buy a Garden Friend membership for a year
