Treasures of the Boise Front

Sunday, April 18th 2021 • 6:30pm - 7:30pm

Dr. Barbara Ertter, Emeritus Curator of Western North American Flora at the University Herbarium and Jepson Herbarium, U.C. Berkeley 

 

The Boise Front (broadly defined) has a wonderful diversity of wildflowers, made possible by the wide range of habitats ranging from riparian sandbars to conifer forests to desert playas.  Many of these wildflowers and other plants are rare, recently described, or otherwise noteworthy.  Dr. Barbara Ertter will give an overview of the many different habitats and their most interesting plants, and also introduce her current in-progress on-line flora at https://boisefrontnature.com/
