Daniel Murphy, IBG Collections Curator
Native plant gardening is a growing trend that has lots to offer, not just for you and your garden, but also for the birds, bees, and other living creatures that call your garden home. In this class you will learn what native plants are, why they matter, and how to grow a native plant garden of your own. You will be introduced to a wide selection of native plants that are excellent for Treasure Valley gardens and receive practical advice on how to grow them. During the tour portion of the class, we will visit native plant gardens at IBG and meet some native plants in person.
