Together, we can grow our community by connecting people, plants and nature. 

For the first time ever, the Garden is launching our first-ever Gratitude and Giving Days campaign. From October 1st – 4th, we are coming together to celebrate and amplify the incredible impact of our Treasure Valley community. This is a special opportunity to support the Idaho Botanical Garden and help us drive meaningful change beyond our Garden gates. 

What Are Growth and Gratitude Giving Days 

Growth and Gratitude Giving Days offers a unique and exciting opportunity for supporters like yourself to make a significant impact through a concentrated period of giving. Over the course of four days, every donation made will directly contribute to the Garden’s mission to connect people with the natural world. 

How You Can Get Involved 

1. Mark Your Calendar: Our Growth and Gratitude Giving Days runs from October 1-4, 2024. Be sure to set a reminder so you don’t miss out on this chance to make a difference! 

1. Donate: Every gift, big or small, helps us reach our goal of $6,000. Donate online, by mail or in person. Consider a membership to the Garden for yourself or a friend! 

1. Spread the Word: Share our campaign with your friends, family, and social networks. Use the hashtag #IBGgrowth&gratitudedays 

1. Engage with Us: Follow us on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn for updates, stories from those we serve, and special Growth and Gratitude Giving Days content. 

Your Support Matters 

Your contribution during Growth and Gratitude Giving Days will enable us to continue our mission of connecting people to the natural world. Below you can see how your dollars are used to help the Garden continue to grow. 

• $5,000: cultivate and preserve our unique gardens, allowing us to share the beauty and serenity of this special space with all who visit. 

• $2,500: can fund one of our team members from the women’s correctional facility in providing workforce development training and programming. 

• $1,000: can help purchase and upgrade lights for our Winter Garden Aglow event that ensure a continued magical experience and tradition for families and friends across the Treasure Valley. 

• $500: can provide resources for a community outreach program, bringing gardening education to local schools and neighborhoods. 

• $250: can plant and maintain our annual flower beds in the Garden, contributing to long-term wellness and an appreciation for nature’s beauty. 

• $100: can support a children's field trip, teaching the importance of connecting to nature and environmental conservation through hands-on activities. 

• $55: can buy a Garden Friend membership for a year.
