A Fish Out of Water
Wednesday, August 07th 2019 • 10:00am - 11:00am
“When you feed a fish, never feed him a lot. Or something may happen! You never know what.” A young boy has an unexpected adventure when he doesn’t follow the directions for taking care of his new fish. Take a special tour of the Koi fish pond at the Garden, and explore the Japanese art of Gyotaku (fish printing).
During this program children will listen to a story, go on a nature walk and make a craft related to that day’s theme. The program starts at 10 a.m. and lasts for one hour.
Each child should come with an adult who will help during the activities. There is limited space, so please register in advance.
To sign up, contact the Garden, (208) 275-8612 or register online.
