By: Corey King, Marketing & Communication Director | 09/18/2018

Idaho Botanical Garden adds a new Adult Night

Boise, Idaho, September 18, 2018–The Garden’s annual Fall Harvest Festival will celebrate autumn with an extra special night for adults, 21 years and older, on October 5, from 6pm-9pm.  This new event will feature live music by The Underhill Family Orchestra as the evening’s entertainment. A variety of activities will be geared towards adults looking for a night out and include a silent disco by Kaleidisco, Virtual Reality Tours by VR1 Arcade, and a free photo booth from Caravan Photo. A special “What species of bee are you?” survey and education segment will include mead tasting by Nectar Creek.

Friday’s event will include favorite food vendors Willowcreek, Tony’s Tamales, and Sushi Shack. There will be wine from Sawtooth Winery, beer from Mad Suede Brewing and County Line Brewing, and Cider from Meriwether Cider Company, for a variety of local adult bevies to enjoy while strolling through the Scarecrow Stroll exhibit. Vote for your favorite scarecrow!

“We are very excited to offer this new ‘date-night’ opportunity. We hope adults, parents, and couples will take time to enjoy themselves and then bring the kids to enjoy the family-friendly weekend activities.” Adan David-Callsen, IBG Event Director

On Saturday and Sunday, Fall Harvest Festival will offer an artisans market with 20 + booths, arts and crafts for kids, beer garden, food vendors, and live music by Rebecca Scott, Famous Undercover Band, Innocent Man, and Big Wow Band.
