Idaho Botanical Garden celebrates fall with Scarecrow Stroll design competition
Boise, Idaho, September 24, 2018– Creative scarecrows peek around trees, plantings, and fence posts in the Garden from October 1 to October 31. Idaho Botanical Garden’s eleventh year celebrating Scarecrow Stroll will display 31 different scarecrow designs entered by community members and organizations. Entries represent an upcoming event, unique theme, or fashioned to represent a school or club mascot. The design contest is a great team building activity for employees while they create the most fantastic scarecrow imaginable.
“Scarecrow Stroll welcomes guests during the beautiful change of seasons. We love that Fall Harvest Festival kicks off this annual event. The creativity and dedication the community commits to these scarecrows is delightful.” Erin Anderson, Executive Director
Scarecrow Stroll is an important event that brings many preschoolers and children of all ages to the Garden during the changing of seasons to connect with nature. All guests vote for their favorite scarecrow and prizes will be awarded to first, second, and third place winners on November 1.
