BLM Firewise Garden
The BLM Firewise Garden was developed and is maintained with help from the partnering BSU Horticulture Department

An arena-shaped grass outdoor classroom surrounded by beautiful trees.
Foothills Native Plant Garden
In 2008, the Idaho Botanical Garden "broke ground" on a new area above the Lewis and Clark Native Plant Garden.
Garden Woods
Trees planted by old Idaho State Penitentiary inmates create an inviting forest and provide shade to the picnic grounds.
Herb Garden
Flavorful and fragrant, the Herb Garden contains plants rich in legend and lore as well as aroma.
Herbaceous Border & Historical Iris Collection
This garden contains Dykes Medal Iris varieties and is located parallel to the English Garden.
Jane Falk Oppenheimer Heirloom Rose Garden
This garden features Heirloom and other rose varieties in a traditional perennial setting.
Labyrinth
This Celtic labyrinth aids meditation.
Lewis & Clark Native Plant Garden
Opened May 2006, the garden features plants described by Meriwether Lewis in his journals.
Meditation Garden
The Meditation Garden's many nooks and crannies are to the north of the Children's Garden.
Muriel and Diana Kirk English Garden
This garden was designed by world-reknowned English landscape architect John Brookes.
Outlaw Field
"The Outlaws", an inmate team formed in the 1930's, played baseball games here.
Peony Collection
Planted in 1992 as a memorial to the parents of one of the Garden's most ardent supporters, Margaret Tillotson.
Summer Succulent Garden
In May 2008, Idaho Botanical Garden garden staff planted an extensive bed of non-hardy succulents and cacti giving visitors yet another area to look forward to seeing come summer
Water Feature
Home to goldfish, lillies, iris, frogs, aquatic insects, and occasional water fowl.
Western Natives Demonstration Plot
In May 2008, Dr. Steve Love delivered 50 plants of 13 different species to be used as an evaluation to assess the potential horticulture value.
Western Waterwise Garden
Opened in 2008, this garden demonstrates how western native plants and their hybridized offspring can be incorporated into the home landscape.
