Idaho Botanical Garden
Learn basic techniques for good pasture management including how grasses grow, creating a sacrifice area, spreading compost, rotational grazing, weed control, fencing options and small farm equipment. We will also discuss what constitutes a “lush” pasture, sugars in pastures and how this weaves into horse health. Learn how to manage horses and grazing so horses are healthier and pastures more productive.
