PART I: DIAGNOSIS – February 13, 6:30 p.m.
Learn how to become a horticulture detective! Assessing plant health problems can be a difficult task. This session teaches advanced gardeners the process of piecing together clues to answer the question: “what’s wrong with my plant?” Join us as we uncover the subtle differences between plant diseases and nutrient deficiencies, poor soils and improper plant choices, and more. This class addresses problems of both edible and ornamental plant species.
PART II: SOLUTIONS – February 15, 6:30 p.m.
The second session covers solutions to common problems affecting edible and ornamental plant species. Advanced gardeners will learn how to correct nutrient, soil and watering issues, and choose a management strategy for insect pests, diseases, and physiological disorders. Prevention techniques will also be discussed.
